This is a very exciting product review as I have heard many great things about Health Boss, so when it arrived, I was more than thrilled to try it!

To start, the greatest thing about this product is that it’s suitable for vegans – This powder has been formulated with Vollagen and Aquamin. Vollagen is composed of the same 18 Amino Acids as Human Collagen. It is 100% plant-origin and is produced using a proprietary, multistep fermentation and micro encapsulation process with a starting material of Corn Starch. Aquamin contains calcium, magnesium, and 72 other trace minerals. It is harvested from the cold Atlantic waters using organic and sustainable practices. It is vegan, allergen free, non-GMO, and has highly bioavailability. 

So we started on a high note! To compare, the majority of brands that sell collagen, like Nutra Organics, source their collagen from animal sources. If you are looking for a more environmentally friendly and natural alternative, this product is for you and we definitely recommend it. 

Since we are big ambassadors for environmentally friendly options, adding this product to my routine was a no- brainer. I mixed a scoop of the powder to a glass of water (4.5 g (1 level scoop) into 200-300 mL of cool water) in the morning before my usual breakfast. It is slightly effervescent and has a citrus flavour. I usually take apple cider vinegar in the morning so this product was an actual improvement in taste and not hard on my stomach. 

I didn’t try it with anything other than that, but I can see that adding it into a fruit juice would be a delicious option as well. It does not have an aftertaste and the flavour is smooth and not overwhelming. I could sip on it while starting my morning and I can say it was very pleasant to drink.
