Eco Ingredients for Absolute Intense Hair Care

I never tried shampoo and conditioner bars before and I was actually very skeptical about it as how can we have it all in one? 

Being old school, I always had a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner and always been very careful about what products I put in my hair. Having curls, you can never be too picky! 

My curls are very well looked after, with all sorts of oils and hair care products I can find, always opting for more natural ingredients, so when we started stocking Shampoo with a Purpose, my curiosity was through the roof!

We Tried

As mentioned before, I was super skeptical. But I needed to try so our customers were well informed about the products. 

I picked the Shampoo & Conditioner Bar The O.G. for All Hair and the first thing I noticed was the incredible smell coming from it. The coconut is very present and was actually the main reason I picked this product – I love coconut! 

I washed my hair as normal and then lather on the bar on my hair and left it on for 2-3 minutes whilst I finished showering. I then washed it out and was excited to see how my hair reacted after drying. 

Firstly, this product did not ruined my natural curls, it actually made my hair super smooth and hydrated (courtesy of the shea butter and argan oil), something I was not expecting!

Second, after using this product, it was so much easier to brush my hair and not experience any breakage. The bar made my hair incredibly easy to manage without making it oily. I was so surprised!

And third, as already mentioned, the smell is incredible and it was super present after I washed the product off as well, lasting for ages afterwards. The coconut scent is a dream and I loved how many compliments I got from using this shampoo and conditioner bar! 

Final Thoughts 

I was thoroughly impressed by this product from Shampoo with a Purpose. It is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for hydration, smooth curls and a fabulous scent – without forgetting the environmentally friendly aspect and how better it is to have an all in one product, suitable for everyone.
