Details
Necessity Organic Lip Balm must be absorbed into the skin to work effectively, so before applying, use a good cleanser to thoroughly wash the affected area. Petroleum-based products prevent Necessity Organic Lip Balm from working by blocking the skin pores. If you find that the skin continues to remain oily for more than a few minutes after applying Necessity Organic Lip Balm, thoroughly cleanse the area again and re-apply.
Necessity Organic Lip Balm ingredients include Jojoba Oil which has a natural Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 4. It also includes Shea Butter, which has a natural SPF which is variable, but can be as high as 6. Shea Butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Another ingredient used in our product, Rosehip Oil, has been found to contain Trans-Retinoic Acid (a derivative of Retinol – Vitamin A) and this substance has been shown to have positive effects on skin damaged by excessive amounts of sunlight.
Uses
Use as often as required to keep your lips moisturised and healthy.
