Description
Bioceuticals FemmeBalanc features peony which is used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to relieve menstrual cycle irregularity. Vitamin B6 maintains healthy female hormonal balance, relieves symptoms of premenstrual tension including mood swings, and temporarily relieves mild fluid retention. Licorice is used in traditional Chinese medicine as an antispasmodic and to relieve abdominal pain and discomfort.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains standardized dry herbal extracts including 142.9 mg of Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root, equivalent to a minimum of 2.5 g dry root and standardized to 28.6 mg glycyrrhizinic acid. It also contains 150 mg of Paeonia lactiflora (peony) root, equivalent to 3 g dry root; 66.7 mg of Cinnamomum cassia (cinnamon) stem bark, equivalent to 1 g dry bark, with 666.7 micrograms of cassia oil and 3.33 micrograms of coumarin; and 150 mg of Taraxacum officinale (dandelion) leaf, equivalent to 750 mg dry leaf. The vitamin content includes 39.2 mg of pyridoxal-5-phosphate monohydrate (active vitamin B6), equivalent to 25 mg pyridoxine, and 30.4 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride, equivalent to 25 mg pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Additionally, each tablet contains 200 mg of the nutrient inositol (myo-inositol).
