Growing food sustainably means treating the farm like an ecosystem: caring for and regenerating soil, air, and water.

After the growth cycle of the mushrooms, the substrate bags are emptied into our veggie gardens and mixed with organic composted matter. They will then be planted with a diverse range of vegetables and medicinal herbs for local farmers' markets. Additionally, these herbs and our seasonal organic fruits will be dehydrated and milled into powders for use in smoothies and other healthy recipes.

At our organic farm, we are committed to sustainable farming practices, utilizing only the finest local substrates to cultivate our medicinal mushrooms.

One key substrate in our process is sustainable milled hardwood sourced from a local sawmill. This premium material is carefully combined with other substrates, such as organic sugar cane mulch, and incorporated into our mushroom growing bags to ensure optimal quality and yield.

Northern Rivers is the most north-easterly region of the Australian state of New South Wales.
