Uses
Dosage
- 1 tablet 3 – 4 times daily
Warnings
- Use cautiously in pregnancy
- Globe artichoke is contraindicated in blockage of the gallbladder
- In anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required, do not take simultaneously with meals or iron supplements
- Not to be taken at the same time with immunosuppressive drugs, and caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
